Forced Migrants and Digital Connectivity: Special Collection for the journal Social Media + Society
Together with Koen Leurs (Utrecht University), CEMESO member Kevin Smets recently edited a special collection of the journal Social Media + Society. The special collection focuses on forced migration in(to) Europe and questions of digital connectivity and includes 10 papers by a diverse range of authors as well as 3 book reviews. In their introductory essay, Leurs and Smets reflect on the state of the field of digital migration studies.
